I sat in a Lazboy “Cool” for the first time today. I put it on my Facebook status and got asked by a friend for a detailed description of the experience.
Here’s what I wrote:
“The moment you prey eyes upon the Lazboy “Cool” you know it is going to be the best seating experience of your life.
The leather just screams quality, no shiny pleather is anywhere to be seen. It just looks expensive. And comfortable. You also know you are getting a quality chair when it has to be plugged in. Yes plugged in.
On the first initial sitting the Lazboy manages to mould itself around your body without even changing shape as it is already ergonomically perfect. The back rest is at the perfect angle even before reclining, the armrests placed evenly at the perfect height for “arms by side” comfort.
I said this to my family at the time, “the Lazboy is designed so well that it should be prescribed to people with back problems as a cure. I can gurantee it will solve them.”
All this even before the reclining experience. The mechanism works so well that it requires such minimal effort to recline, yet it will never recline without you wanting it to do so. The smooth action of the recliner is not matched by any other chair and when the leg supports pop out from underneath, triggered by the well finished wooden handle to your side, the comfort level increases by 100. Hard to believe based on the initial sitting I described. But it’s true, you could live in this chair.
“Sounds amazing!” I hear you say? You haven’t heard anything yet. Take a look at the arm rest to your right and pull up the cushion… a remote control appears. You heard. This will control the 5 massaging areas built into the chair with 4 different motion settings and oh yes, the heat settings. Used to own central heating? You won’t need that anymore, the Lazboy Cool not only massages you but also keeps you warm at the same time.
Sounds like the best chair in the world at this point.

Council Depot Blues and updates.

I went to see the second play of my life last night, Council Depot Blues. As you can probably tell from the name, it was AWESOME. Proper British comedy.
They got everything right from the Liverpudlian accents of the workers to the well written storyline and plot. I won’t give too much away about the plot, but it was actually really well done and much better than I had expected judging by the title of the play. My dad came as well and being a council worker himself loved it, definitely worth a watch if you work for the local council but it was a great comedy for anyone to enjoy overall. The young chav character was seamless too and helped to add that contrast between the characters.

My First Film Overview

I cannot remember what this film is called. I wrote this last night:
The illegal alien, Bullock is abducted by ufo aliens. Turns out it is her long lost relatives from Blofnong 9. They go on holiday to sector 7G of maringderd planet to discover bullock forgot about her wedding on earth. So they went back and had a weddings full of guests consisting of humans and aliens. Police came but gave it the all clear. 7 out of 10.
